Take your Anatomy Labs Online with VH Dissector Virtual Anatomy Lab. This comprehensive digital resource offers a vast library of content, where currently loaded videos are 1 through 15 of 5348 total videos. By moving beyond traditional methods, educators and students can explore the human body in a more dynamic environment.

The Need for Innovation in Anatomical Study

Many students find it hard to really dive deep into studying human anatomy because dry books, learning cards and lifeless skeletons on sticks never truly inspired me to take on the tedious task of learn anatomy. However, the older I got the more I discovered how much one benefits from gaining comprehensive knowledge about the human form. Therefore I decided to dedicate my time bringing life into this subject and inspire others with my 3D artwork.

The human body is just to complex and the possibilities of 3D graphics are only limited by imagination and software knowledge. While I am very satisfied where I am at, there is still a long road ahead, as I doubt that I will ever consider this project to be done.

Technical Specifications of the 3D Model

More Info: Right now the Model consists of about 560,000 Vertices (Points in 3D Space). Every single Point can be manipulated in all three dimensions. 4 Points form a Face which then can be given a Material, Color, Texture,.. Multiple Faces then form the actual Muscles, Bones and Tendons,.. The Model is then is then rigged (pretty much like a Marionette doll) which essentially makes it ready for some real Actions!

Key Structural Data of the Virtual Model

Component Technical Detail
Vertices About 560,000 Points in 3D Space
Surface Construction 4 Points form a Face
Anatomical Formation Multiple Faces form Muscles, Bones and Tendons
Animation Readiness Rigged like a Marionette doll for real Actions

Continuous Development

I´ve been working on my model for three years and trust me it`s been quite the journey. Trying to make it more accurate, keeping it render and animation friendly is a constant process to ensure the highest quality for the Virtual Anatomy Lab.
