Arellano University Achieves Unprecedented 3 Consecutive 100% Passing Rate in Medical Technologist Licensure Examinations

In August 2025, Arellano University – Jose Abad Santos Campus celebrated an extraordinary achievement: a remarkable three consecutive 100% passing rates in the Medical Technologist Licensure Examinations (MTLE) for the months of March 2023, August 2024, and March 2025. This accomplishment highlights the university's commitment to academic excellence and the quality of its Medical Technology program.

Chronology of Academic Success

The first milestone occurred in the March 2023 MTLE, where all three candidates – Vina Moran, MTLE; Jhoana Marie Salazar, RMT; and Alyssa Opena, RMT – successfully passed the examination, achieving a perfect passing rate of 100%. This was followed by another flawless performance in the August 2024 MTLE, where Christine Joy Sinchon, RMT, and Jean Gabriel Defensor, RMT, each earned a perfect score, marking another 100% passing rate.

The third consecutive 100% passing rate was achieved in the March 2025 MTLE, where Karyme Castaneda, RMT, and Charleine Estanes, RMT, also passed with perfect score. Following these achievements, the said program conducted its latest Medical Technologists Licensure Examination last August 2025, where 2/3 examinees - Emmanuel John Aque, RMT, and Dexter Roy Rio, RMT - passed the examination, maintaining the university’s top-tier status in medical technology education.
