High School Summer Internships and Medical Education at Georgetown University

Georgetown University School of Medicine provides a comprehensive pathway for students interested in the medical field, starting from High School Summer Programs through to advanced degrees. The Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program

The Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program is the center of Medical Education. It is built upon the Journeys Curriculum, which is illustrated in the Journeys Curriculum Schematic. The academic progression is divided into the following stages:

  1. Foundational Phase
  2. Third Year Clerkships
  3. Fourth Year Curriculum

Students can also pursue Dual Degree Programs or the MD/PhD Program. Educational Policies and a Summary of Graduation Requirements maintain high standards for all learners.
