Public Health and Education: The Career of Jasmine Walker, MSPH

Jasmine Walker is a public health professional with 10+ years of success in program management, performance optimization, stakeholder engagement, and people management. She is the Founder and CEO of More Than A Minority where they are dedicated to empowering individuals from underrepresented minority communities by providing access to higher education and career development resources.

Academic Foundation

Her educational background is extensive. She conferred a Bachelor of Arts in Human Health at Emory University. During her time there, she served as a Program Coordinator for the Emory Pipeline and the Resource and Insurance Navigator, and was a Community Building and Social Change Fellow at Emory University.

Following her undergraduate studies, she then got a Master of Science in Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. While at Johns Hopkins, she worked as a Research Assistant in multiple departments, including the Department of Health Policy and Management, Urban Health Institute, and Center for Health Disparities, and was a Scholar at the Student Outreach and Resource Center.
