FRAME is the peak body representing Rural Clinical Schools and Regional Medical Schools funded through the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training program. Griffith University School of Medicine and Dentistry

Flinders University – Northern Territory

Flinders NT’s aim is to be a hub for innovative health research, education and workforce development in the Northern Territory. All activities are driven by our values which focus on long-term and short-term needs of the NT community. Flinders NT delivers the Northern Territory Medical Program (NTMP), provides student placement and workforce capacity support through the Remote and Rural Interprofessional Placement Learning (RIPPL NT). Another key team is the Flinders NT Regional Training Hub, who in collaboration with stakeholders, is tasked to further develop capacity for NT medical specialist and rural generalist training thereby addressing workforce need. Flinders NT also encompasses the Centre for Remote Health which provides workforce development through postgraduate education, cultural awareness and other training and undertakes research, and the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health which focuses on capacity development of Indigenous leadership and the health workforce.

University of Wollongong Graduate Medicine

The University of Wollongong’s Graduate Medicine (GM) aims to graduate excellent medical practitioners with a commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based, reflective and cost-effective medical practice, who have the capacity and desire to contribute to the enhancement of health care for persons in all geographic settings but particularly in regional, rural and remote communities. Closing the gap on Indigenous health and social outcomes is a priority and GM aims to produce culturally safe medical practitioners. The medical curriculum covers a diversity of content, encompassing biological and social sciences, clinical medicine, law, ethics, research and critical analysis, and personal and professional development.
