CME Tracker Instructions to Claim CME credits for MGR

Emory School of Medicine provides Continuing Medical Education for healthcare professionals. To facilitate this, the following steps outline how to use the CME Tracker system for Medicine Grand Rounds (MGR).

Setting up your CME Tracker online portal account

FIRST TIME USERS ONLY: (Skip if you have already created a CME Tracker online account). To set up your account, please follow these instructions:

  1. Visit CMETracker.net/EMORY.
  2. Click "Sign In" in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Enter your Emory email address in the space provided.
  4. Then click "Create Account."

Setting up your CME Tracker CME credits via text

This is a one-time set-up to connect your mobile device to your profile. Once you have an account, follow these steps:

  • Send a text to (833) 705-1500 with just your email address connected to your existing CME Tracker Online Portal Account.
  • This will connect your account to your CME Tracker profile.
  • ACTIVATED ACCOUNT! Once you receive a reply that your account was successfully updated, you can now begin using the Text Messaging service to claim your CME Credits.

To Claim CME Credits via Text Message

To receive credit for attending sessions, you must adhere to the following procedure:

  • Attend Medicine Grand Rounds (Tuesdays at noon) or watch the video on the DOM YouTube channel within a week of Medicine Grand Rounds.
  • Text “CERTIF (Session ID #)” to (833) 705-1500.
  • You will receive a reply confirmation with the event name upon successful completion of your response.
  • Your attendance will be immediately recorded and readily available.

Please note that claiming your CME credit is TIME SENSITIVE. You must text within seven business days of the CME presentation.
