Optional Education Abroad Courses in Global Health

Education Abroad opportunities are available through several optional courses in the Master of Science in Global Health program. These programs allow students to engage with diverse Program Locations and gain international experience.

• OST 687 Global Health: Peru
• OST 688 Global Health: Cuba
• OST 690 Global Health: Dominican Republic
• OST 691 Global Health: Guatemala
• OST 694 Global Health: Nepal
• OST 847 Public Health in Ghana: A One Health Perspective

Independent Study and International Rotations

In addition, students may arrange an international independent study course through the Global Health Institute, specifically OST 830 Independent Study in Global Health. This option expands the scope of International Rotations available to participants.

Scholarship Opportunities

Financial support may be available for these programs, as in some instances students may qualify for education abroad scholarships. These opportunities are central to the Global Health Studies Program at Michigan State University.
