The EFPC association is happy to announce its 2025 annual conference with a focus on Research and Practice in Primary Care. In May, the focus shifts to Türkiye. We are honored to invite not only the Family Medicine branch but also all branches that we manage diseases together with a multidisciplinary approach to our third International Eastern Black Sea Family Medicine Congress to be held on May 22-24, 2025 at Ordu, Türkiye. In our congress, with the participation of our speakers who have knowledge and experience in the national and international fields, we have prepared a strong program that will contribute to our practical applications with rich scientific content in the light of current literature information.

The European Forum for Primary Care was initiated in early 2005 by a group of interested parties from several countries. The aim of the Forum is to improve the health of the population by promoting strong Primary Care. This is done by advocating for equitable and sustainable Primary Care, by generating data and evidence on Primary Care and by sharing and exchanging new ideas and information on between its members. To maintain independence, the EFPC does not receive any funding from pharmaceutical industry.
The Membership of the Forum is open to all organizations, institutions and individuals in Europe, which support the aim of the Forum and do not have commercial interests. Benefits include a chance to network and meet colleagues who have similar interests and concerns, as well as reduced registration fees for several conferences. The community also focuses on the next generation of medical professionals. The European Young Family Doctors Movement (EYFDM) and WONCA Europe provide various opportunities for growth. For instance, the WONCA Europe Scholarship 2026 offers annual funding of €2,000 for a maximum of 4 years to support the scholar’s studies and career development. Additionally, for the congress in Türkiye, there are free online registration bursaries for 20 international participants who will present their papers.
