Free CME Points: Certified Medical Training for Doctors

The CME-Verlag offers free certified medical training since 2012 in the form of interactive web-based learning modules. Every month, we expand our course offerings. Participation is free of charge due to the support of sponsors. This enables doctors, as well as diabetes consultants and pharmaceutical technical assistants, to acquire CME points. The contents are company- and product-neutral and are regularly certified by the Academy for Medical Further Education Rheinland Pfalz with up to 4 CME points. Why Free CME Points?

In times of increasing workload and bureaucracy, the acquisition of CME points as part of the continuing education obligation represents a challenge for many contract doctors. Especially for individual practices, it is often difficult to organize adequate practice representation. Interactive internet-based continuing education courses of category D and eLearning offers of category I are an ideal alternative to attending congresses. The required CME points can be conveniently completed at your own desk or even from your home couch.

How to Get Started

At www.cme-kurs.de, CME points are available free of charge. Registration is easy and takes only one minute. Name, desired password, and email address are sufficient. If the acquired CME points are to be automatically reported to the responsible medical association after successful participation, the uniform continuing education number (EFN) – often also called "barcode" – is required.

Course Offerings and Certification

Every month, www.cme-kurs.de offers new training courses for acquiring CME points. Upon successful participation, doctors receive up to 4 CME points. With a processing time of 45 minutes, up to 2 CME points can be achieved, and with a course duration of 90 minutes, even up to 4 CME points.

All offers from CME-Verlag can be used free of charge. This is made possible by the friendly support of partners from the industry. The course contents are developed by first-class speakers in cooperation with experienced medical editors. All modules correspond to the current state of knowledge and fulfill the "Recommendations for Medical Further Education" as well as the "Quality Criteria eLearning" of the German Medical Association.

Partnerships and Recognition

Since 2012, the online training courses from CME-Verlag have been recognized by the Academy for Medical Further Education in Rheinland-Pfalz and are eligible for recognition nationwide. All acquired CME points are transmitted daily to the electronic information distributor (EIV) of the German Medical Association. Our courses for pharmacists and PTAs are recognized according to the "Guidelines of the Federal Chamber of Pharmacists for the Accreditation of Further Education Measures within the Framework of the Further Education Certificate" and are evaluated with 1 training point in category 7.
