University of Florida Continuing Medical Education (CME)

UF CME serves both Gainesville and Jacksonville campuses within the College of Medicine at the University of Florida. The office provides a comprehensive suite of services including Scholarly Endeavors, Publications, and Project Grants. Additionally, the department offers specialized Conference Planning services, including support for hosting virtual events and requesting social media marketing.

Upcoming Educational Conferences

The University of Florida hosts various live events and on-demand courses. Below are the details for upcoming scheduled programs:

  • 13th Annual UF Health Stroke Conference: Scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Gainesville, FL. This is a didactic, in-person conference with a target interdisciplinary audience of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, and paramedics. Content covers current science and evidence surrounding stroke care. Participants can earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (6.00 hours) or a Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (6.00 hours).
  • LIVE Women and Heart Disease: Scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 4:40 PM in Jacksonville, FL.

To access CME courses, learners must manage their accounts through the UF portal. UF FACULTY & STAFF: If you have an active University of Florida GatorLink Account, click “Sign in with your UF credentials”. ALL OTHER LEARNERS: Click “Sign in with your Email and Password”. PLEASE CREATE ONLY ONE ACCOUNT.

Password Requirements

When creating a new account, the password must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be between 8 and 16 characters in length
  • Must contain at least 1 upper case character
  • Must contain at least 1 lower case character
  • Must contain at least 1 numeric character
  • Must contain at least 1 of the following: ! * @ # $ % ^ & + =

Target Audience and Professional Credits

UF Continuing Medical Education is designed for a broad profession base. The target audience includes Physician (MD), Physician (DO), Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, Occupational Therapist, and Physical Therapist. By registering, participants provide permission for CME/MOC completion records to be shared and transmitted to the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
